Buford Area Schools District Emergency Remind Link

The Lancaster County School District Safety and Transportation Department is signing parents up for the Remind app to be used to distribute emergency information about the Buford area schools. This will allow us another emergency communication tool if we have a need to evacuate our buildings, have a natural disaster, or have a criminal act on or around school grounds that threatens the welfare of students and staff. The distribution of information to parents is vital in an emergency. Please use the link below to opt in to the text list. This is voluntary. Your numbers are not shared with us as a safety precaution for your privacy.

Permission for School Administration of Medication

Medications should be administered by a parent or guardian before or after school hours, when possible. Initial doses of a medication that a child has never taken before will not be given at school.

Medication to be given at school should be accompanied by the above form, complete with the prescribing physician’s signature, if required, and provided to the school in the original labeled container. The medication, prescription or non-prescription, must be in the original labeled container.
